Champereia
Griff.
Champereia griffithiana Planch. ex Kurz occurs in India. Though the genus was included
in Santalaceae in Hooker’s Fl. Brit. India 5: 236. 1886, it is now generally considered as belonging
to the family Opiliaceae by Backer & Bakhuizen (Fl. Java 2, 1965) and by several other workers
of Malesia. The genus is treated under the family Opiliaceae in Flora of India, Vol. 5.
