Shrubs, 1 - 2 m high. Leaves 2 - 7 x 0.5 - 2 mm, linear to ovate-lanceolate, subacute to acuminate at apex, subentire. Racemes 3 - 6 x 1 cm. Flowers white; pedicels 2 - 3 mm long; bracts lanceolate to ovate-lanceolate, subentire, acute at apex. Sepals lanceolate, subentire, acute to subacute at apex. Petals obovate-spathulate, cucullate. Stamens connate to about half of their length; free part of longer filaments ca 1.5 mm long, of shorter ca 1 mm long. Seeds obovoid to ellipsoid, ca 1.5 mm long; coma ca 6 mm long.
