Herbs, large, profusely branching with a rambling habit. Leaves 2-ternately compound; leaflets of lower branches orbicular-cordate, with a narrow sinus, crenate or somewhat lobed, 4 - 5 cm across, glabrous. Panicles of small greenish flowers on spreading branches. Filaments short; anthers apiculate. Achenes 6 - 8, with ventral suture, strongly curved, ribbed, with stalks as long as achenes; beak straight.

Fl. & Fr. June - Oct.

Distrib. India: Himalayas, 2400 - 3800 m. Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Sikkim.
