Climbers; branches glabrescent. Leaves oblong, ovate, obovate or rounded, acute at base, acuminate at apex, 7 - 11 cm long, glabrous above, minutely tomentose on nerves beneath; petioles 0.8 - 1.7 cm long. Panicles decompound, 12 - 20 cm long, grey-tomentose. Pedicels slender, 5 - 9 mm long, articulate below middle at about 3 mm from base, glabrescent above articulation. Calyx-lobes ovate, ca 1 x 0.75 mm. Petals ovate, ca 2.5 mm long, white. Filaments ca 12 mm long; anthers ovoid, ca 1 mm long. Ovary glabrous; styles ca 2 mm long; stigma capitate. Samaras ovate or orbicular, ca 3 x 1.5 - 2.5 cm, obtuse at apex.

Distrib. India: In hill country up to 900 m. Meghalaya.
