Trees. Leaves elliptic-oblong, lanceolate, 16 - 20 cm long, apex shortly
acuminate, entire, thinly coriaceous, glabrous; petioles 2.25 - 3.75 cm long.
Panicles terminal, puberulous. Flowers 1.5 mm across; pedicels 1.5 mm long,
pubescent. Calyx lobes ovate. Petals oblong, 1.5 x 0.8 mm, reflexed. Stamens
8, 1.5 mm long; filaments subulate; anthers sagittate. Disc 1 mm in diam.,
8-crenated. Ovary 1.5 mm long, hairy at base. Drupes long, obliquely oblong,
compressed.

Notes. This species is rather rare in India. In recent years it has been collected only once.
