Notes. According to Hara et al. (1982) J. macrocephala DC., Prodr. 6: 674. 1838 is based on a plant from Iran. The style branches of J. dolomiaea are long. Some authors treat this species as Dolomiaea macrocephala DC. Aswal & Goel (Indian J. For. 11(4): 339. 1988) have proposed a transfer of this species under Jurinella macrocephala (Royle) Aswal et Goel.
