Suberect, ca 30 cm high; branches ascending pubescent. Leaves obovate or spathulate, sinuately lobed. Heads hemispheric, ca 3 mm across. Corolla of female flowers elongate, ovoid or suburceolate, minutely toothed. Achenes ca 1 mm long, compressed.

Distrib. India: In subtropical region, up to ca 1500 m. Meghalaya.
