Myriactis wightii

Herbs, erect, hirsute-pubescent or villous, (10-15) 60 - 90 cm high. Lower leaves
ovate or lyrate, or obovate-spathulate, 2.5 - 10 cm, long petioled; upper obovate-oblong,
entire or distantly serrate, auricled at base, sessile, sparsely pubescent on both surfaces.
Heads 6-8 mm across, long peduncled. Involucral bracts ca 4 mm long, acute or obtuse
at apex, scarious at margin, pubescent. Ligule white at first, becoming purplish 2.5 - 3 mm
long, linear, Disc florets yellow: ca 2 mm long. Achenes ca 2 mm long, shortly beaked,
oblanceolate, glabrous.
